DataCard 220 Plastic Card Embosser

We just received this unit in excellent cosmetic and working condition. This is a large and heavy unit. Software is not included but it does not require it since it can operated directly with a keyboard.

The DataCard Model 220 Embosser is designed for low to medium volume (IDS recommended volume of up to 300 cards per day). Information to be embossed can be sent from a computer or manually entered into the detachable keyboard (not shown). Upon receiving information, the 220 will feed one card from the input hopper (on the right), encode the magnetic stripe, emboss the card, color top the raised characters (tipper) and then drop the finished card into the output tray (on the left). The input hopper will hold up to 150 blank cards and the output tray will hold up to 15 finished cards. Rejected cards will fall into a separate hopper.

Two font sizes are included in the machine: The standard alphanumeric font spaced at 10 characters-per-inch and OCR numeric characters spaced at 7 characters-per-inch. (These are the size characters found on traditional credit cards.)
